SEASON OPENING: MAY 1st 2026

Welcome back Happy Campers! We look forward to seeing our returning guests as well as meeting all our new Campers!

MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH SATURDAY MAY 9TH

Come celebrate Mother’s Day Weekend at AJ’s. We will serve a light brunch with baked goods, Beverages and Mom-Mosas and Mom-aritas! Come join us for this FREE event on the porch as we celebrate the Mom’s out there! Saturday,  5 /9 at 11:00 am.

 

MEMORIAL WEEKEND/CHILI COOK-OFF MAY 23RD

AJ’s Getaway’s 2nd Annual Chili Cookoff! Do you make a mean chili? Are you fun and competitive? Come sign up to participate in our Inaugural Chili Cook Off! Call Machelle to register for this free event. There will be awards and prizes for our 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners. All guests can come get a tasting for free as we will provide cornbread and beverages. We need 5-10 contestants for this event and we will have local celebrity judges decide WHO MAKES the BEST chili.  Fun will be had at this event.

FATHER’S DAY SATURDAY JUNE 20TH

Come join us as we celebrate you Dad’s out there! We will serve Brats, Beer and Bloody Mary’s at 12:00 pm on the porch. Come join us for this FREE event as we thank all you Dad’s for sharing your day with us. We will serve Brats, Beer and Bloody Mary’s  Come join in the FUN!

INDEPENDENCE DAY JULY 3RD – JULY 7TH
This is a 3 night minimum. Thurs-Sunday or Friday- Monday

Independence Day Parade and Events: Saturday, July 4th. Bands, Beer Garden, Food/Craft Vendors at Tall Timbers Park. Parade on Saturday morning on the 260 HWY.  SUNDAY, is when the Fire Department will hose off the kiddos in the event area and when we BBQ for you in the late afternoon. You must stay until Monday to participate in Sunday Events!

 


LABOR DAY SEPTEMBER 4TH - 7TH

We are still finalizing the BAND to play either Saturday or Sunday night for us! Bring your dancing shoes and have the EVENT of the Season at our Campground. We will provide the food 


70S/80S NIGHT SEPTEMBER 19TH

We are hosting our 70’s/ 80’s themed night.  Last year was such a blast, we are doing it again and adding a little variety!  Dress in your 70’s/80’s best and bring your dancing shoes to this FUN event. Our local DJ spinning your favorite songs. Come dance and sing as we reminisce the best music ever!

FALL BREAK ACTIVITIES
OCTOBER 2ND - OCTOBER 18TH

Come escape the heat and have fun for the whole family. We will have games, rock painting, movies and more! We will have a schedule later in the Season.

Halloween themed weekends with movies, cookie decorating, scary storytelling and more!

OCTOBER 31ST

TRUNK OR TREAT at Tall Timbers Park. Bring the kiddos and dress in costumes for this free event! Free food, fires, hot cocoa , trunk or treating and more!
